Voicemail Transcription version 5.3 - Step by Step

It's clear that many of the issues people are running into could be avoided with better coding practices, testing, and a more intuitive interface. The fact that essential settings are not documented—and that users have to dig through PHP just to get basic functionality working—is beyond...

Voicemail Transcription version 5.3 - Step by Step

@whut I'm using OpenAi for my engine, and it works great with just the basic settings in the directions I put together. I'm in the US as well. Do you know why Azure would need the language set to en-US in order to work? Also, setting the URL to WestUS doesn't make any sense.

Improving FusionPBX Documentation: Cleaning Up Outdated Links

@markjcrane Mark, I appreciate the work you've put into FusionPBX, and I’ve been trying to contribute by helping clean up the documentation. However, the outdated wiki is still up despite previous discussions about its removal. Is there a specific reason for keeping it? This is becoming...

Inbound Calls parking into different domain

@deadciv How are you parking the call? On the Yealinks that I have, we have been using this method: park+*5901@domainname and park+*5902@domainname. I was told at some point that keeps the parked calls within the domain but I cannot find where it is currently documented. The fusion PBX docs...

Voicemail Transcription version 5.3 - Step by Step

Yes, this worked well for me. You might want to spin up a new virtual server and try the steps above, then, once you get it going, compare the two systems.

Best Practices for Fail2Ban and Event Guard Configuration in FusionPBX?

For the last few weeks, I’ve been experiencing intermittent call issues on one of my smaller FusionPBX servers. After investigating, I discovered that my Fail2Ban setup had been disabled. This allowed repeated scans of my server from different IPs. At some point during the scanning, my GUI would...

@zusrut This looks promising, and I like how you are using the API. Why don't you have @Adrian Fretwell create a thread for you?

I tracked down the third item, and it belongs to Len. It is part of his cloned Read the Docs. @markjcrane, is Len still in this forum?

Just Started Using Midnight Commander on Debian — Loving It!

I didn't know you could connect via SSH using VS code. I'll have to check that out. Most the time, I use WinSCP when I need to move files around, but I saw someone mention Midnight Commander the other day, and it's a nice lightweight tool.

Just Started Using Midnight Commander on Debian — Loving It!

I recently came across an awesome open-source tool called Midnight Commander, and I'm impressed. It's a visual file manager that runs directly in the CLI (Command Line Interface), making file navigation fast and intuitive. You can use the keyboard or the mouse to navigate the file...

Improving FusionPBX Documentation: Cleaning Up Outdated Links

Hi Mark @markjcrane, Could you take a look at this? It helps explain why so many people are encountering issues with documentation. At least two of the three seem to be within your domain, so they should be straightforward to address. The first one appears to be someone who previously worked on...
