    SOLVED Outbound CDR

Hello; For some reason, Fusion/Freeswitch isn't logging outbound calls to the database anymore. Inbound and internal show fine, and so do failed outbound calls, but successful outbound are not. Any ideas where I can start to look to resolve this? Thanks in advanced

Outbound caller ID name not working

The provider you're calling needs to accept the name coming through caller id. In my country (New Zealand), only a small handful of providers accept cid text.and our trunk provider isn't one of them unfortunately

SOLVED Star codes incall not working

Hey; I'm not able to get star codes working while in a call, eg *1 for transferring, *2 for recording etc. The DTMF is sent down the gateway instead Is there something special I should be doing to make this work?

Outbound caller ID name not working

What I've done is, set the CID at the outbound route. I have this at order #0: Then at order #100 (this is for 0800/0508 numbers) Make sure you have the effective caller id name and number set. My extensions look like this: Hope this helps :)

Good Inbound dialplan destination to catch anything?

I got around this by switching the port numbers on internal and external in advanced > sip profiles Internal now 5060 External now 6050 (phones connect on domain:6050) Then updating iptables to reflect the new port numbers. Also in IPTables, I blocked port 5060, then allowed it only for...

    Block anonymous sip calls

When I first setup fusion, I was accessing it from the ip address. Any tenant with trunks and dialing rules is setup with a domain My worry is, did the calls result in send_refuse because there are no routes for that tenant. What if someone was to guess a domain that had routes

    SOLVED MYSQL caller id lookup

Yes, If I copied and pasted the select string, and added in a number, it would select no problems. I've given up on this, as the system is a multi-tenant, and it seems to me - either mysql lookup or pgsql lookup (for local contacts). But not both

    Block anonymous sip calls

And yes, public IP. I've since moved "internal" off port 5060 to another port - and blocked 5060 using iptables.
