    Bandwidth.com good? bad?

I didn't want to put these providers all in one thread so I'm asking separately (for future users wanting to search). Has anyone tried bandwidth.com? Are they good? Bad? Do you find their rates competitive? Any insight appreciated.

How do I configure Music on Hold

The only way I was able to get MOH to work was to: 1) Upload my moh file to the home directory. 2) Move the file to the /usr/share/freeswitch/sounds....default/8000 directory. 3) Delete all other files in the 8k, 16k, 32k, 48k directories.

    Fusion vs Kazoo

I did spin up a version just a last month and although the gui is pretty slick, the opensource is really basic. Like you've mentioned anything to make this into a really functional system requires payment of their commercial apps (i.e. provisioning, operator panel). When I called them they...

Is it taboo to talk about voipproviders?

I wanted to get anyone/everyone opinion on different voip providers. Would it be okay to mention their names and to possibly get some comments/suggestions/reviews?

How do I configure Music on Hold

I've ready the minimal documentation on this topic and can't seem to get my custom wav file to play. I added a GLOBAL music group called 'custom'. Added an 8khz wav file. Changed in variables hold_music=local_stream://custom Doesn't seem to change anything as the default music still plays.

    Daylight savings Time (US)

Figured it out for anyone wanting to know: I had to create the following variables in the default settings: yealink_dst_enable [numeric 1] yealink_dst_type [numeric 1] yealink_time_zone_start_time [text 3/2/7/2] yealink_time_zone_end_time [text 11/1/7/2] If you look at one of the...

    Daylight savings Time (US)

Why is it that when I look at the yealink provision cfg file (i.e. http://domain/app/provision/12345678.cfg) I find that the time setting is not set? ####################################################################################### ## Time...

    Daylight savings Time (US)

My yealinks do not have the correct time even with the change in daylight_savings_start_day set to 11. As for the yealink time format you need to look at this setting:

    Daylight savings Time (US)

Thanks for the reply...I guess you can always go to STATUS->REGISTRATIONS and 're'-provision all the phones to get the right settings? By the way for that matter, day light savings ends Sunday March 4th, not the 5th as entered in fusion.

    Daylight savings Time (US)

Currently the timezone should be -4 for us (DST off), yet I have yealink_time_zone set for -5. Does that mean I have to change it manually?

    Daylight savings Time (US)

Same problem here. The server has the correct time. Default Settings: Time_Zone set to right zone, yealink_time_ zone set to -5 (for us) Variables has the right timezone? We shouldn't have to re-provision the phones do we? Not sure what else to look at?

Absolutely not! Seriously digital daz, your amazing. Thank you very much. I didn't notice that there were separate permissions for the group. It works like a charm.

    Access Denied...Call details record

I've created a user called OperatorPanel and assigned it the rights for both Apps and Call Detail Record in the menu manager. But the user gets 'Access Denied' when trying to select the option form their menu. Are there other rights that I need to assign?

Need guidance for an office incoming calls.

No I have the keys defined as you do. If they park and unpark the call on the same handset it pops up the park code 'park+*5902' in the yealkink dialog box...not call id.
