    Strange registration issue

It sounds like you are having a bad time... Bottom line: You will always struggle if you cannot turn SIP ALG off. Treat yourself to a decent router. You may be able to circumvent the SIP ALG if you get your endpoints to connect using TLS, but I'm not recommending this for you right now. If...

    Call privacy for extension

There is an a call_privacy dialplan enabled by default. Dial *67 then the number. I have never tested it. Look at it's dialplan detail to get an idea of what it does.

Move voicemail recordings only to new server

    The greeting messages are referenced in the v_voicemail_greetings table: select * from v_voicemail_greetings; voicemail_greeting_uuid | domain_uuid | voicemail_id | greeting_id | greeting_name | greeting_filename | greeting_description | greeting_base64...

    Dect Phone recomendation

I see the problem. We have also been putting in devices for temporary homeworkers. Not the cheapest solution, but the Yealink T54W (not a DECT phone, just wireless) works well where people don't have a CAT5 connection at the location they want to work, but do have decent WiFi.

SOLVED No Ringback on Ring Groups

Don't know what is causing your issue, but to help diagnose, try uploading a .wav file and then select this as the Ring back drop down in the ring group record. See if the callers hear that.

    Dect Phone recomendation

I don't understand why individuals make such stipulations, they are significantly reducing their choice of device for apparently no good reason! The Yealink DECT phones have performed brilliantly for us, we have lots of them in service, but they all have a separate base station (hub). I don't...

Adding dial plan for 14 digits number with +

I assume you are referring to the destination number in Outbound Routes. Try this: ^(\+88\d{11}) This means the number must start with +88 and then be followed with exactly 11 digits.

    BLF multi domain

Yes,, but I believe in order for it to work the phone must also register as an extension on domain 2, you then just specify the line number for the BLF. Here is a screenshot of my setup for a Yealink phone, I have line 1 as ext 201 in domain 1 and line 4 as ext 206 in domain 2: I have many...

No ringback sound on inbound call to busy extention

Hi Tim, Yes we suffered with the odd announcement reverting to US. Probably on voicemail, I can't exactly remember now. I solved it with the following settings: In /etc/freeswitch/languages/en modify en.xml for Rachel <language name="en" say-module="en"...

    Yealink Contacts

I have this working. You may need to enable some default settings, see screenshot: Next you need to ensure that the correct user for the given contacts is assigned to the device record: Now you need to make sure the contact records have the correct permissions for the user of the...

No ringback sound on inbound call to busy extention

Apart from Ring groups, I don't normally have to set uk-ring anywhere, it is just set in the switch variables, see screenshot:

    Sofia DNS resolution issue

Interesting findings @bcmike I'm not surprised, a couple of years ago, I proved with packet captures that our Yealink phones only queried DNS on startup and not when registration/re-registration occurred. The situation may have changed now with later firmware, but at the time it meant that we...

    Consolidate Outbound Routes Dialplans

You may find the following post helpful in working out your regex for the number match: https://www.pbxforums.com/threads/regex-for-one-single-outbound-route-uk.3819/ You may then find the following thread useful for working out how to use the regex dialplan tool to add and/or strip prefixes...

Need to find where Fusion sets api_hanguphook in freeswitch

Have a look in /etc/freeswitch/autoload_configs/lua.conf.xml You can hook events there to trigger .lua scripts. There is an example towards the bottom of the file for hooking the PHONE_FEATURE_SUBSCRIBE event, I'm sure you could adapt this for maybe the CHANNEL_HANGUP or...

Need Help with bulk extension import/update on existing extensions.

@ad5ou Great tutorial, you have explained this very well. Just for completeness may I ask why we are not using the Extension Import that is built in to the standard FusionPBX extensions page as per the screenshot posted by @allankon are there problems with that software?

couple of questions about Auto Provisioning

Is your device assigned to the user also? In my case here, user 201.

Agent status is reset to "logged-out" at freeswitch restart, I want it to be preserved

I seem to remember reading, that it is best to leave the "status" dropdown blank in the call center agent record otherwise this status is used as a default.

couple of questions about Auto Provisioning

Yes that is correct. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. I believe the device has to be assigned to a user (has a user assigned to it on the device page). Personal Contacts will contain all contact records assigned to that user. Global Contacts will contain all contacts assigned to...

    OpenSIPS Auto process scaling

For those of you who use, or are thinking of using OpenSIPS in front of your FusionPBX to lighten the load on the internal SIP profile, you may be interested in this OpenSIPS blog post that I have just found entitled "Auto process scaling – a cure for load and resources concerns". It is a new...
