V1VoIP has a really nice portal and you can search for DIDs and provision them within minutes. Pricing is pretty good. I just looked at my latest invoice and the average was .002112 for termination.

I use several and they don't have minimums, so I can select where to send specific traffic

How do their costs compare with others? My average termination in the US is about .003. How about month DID costs? SMS?

You'll find the rate question to be the most difficult to answer. Some providers are fantastic on termination but expensive on origination... and vice versa. Others have inexpensive origination but high monthly DID fees. Still others have monthly minimums. Good luck!

I was able to get help in the IRC chatroom. For reference, on the IP 650, you can't set the BLF to a specific key; they go in order. So, I set lines 1 through 6 to be the extension lines themselve and then the BLF lines started on the next available, which was the expansion module.

Hi- I need to configure BLF on a Polycom expansion module for an IP 650. I want to do it in the device section in Fusion. Can anybody give me a pointer? Thanks

Been a while since I provisioned a Polycom but if I remember correctly, you set the server type in the drop down and then just the IP address of your server. If using DHCP, set option 66 to http://<domain_url/app/provision/, or in your case http://<ip_address>/app/provision/

How are you setting the provisioning server - directly into the phone or through DHCP?

Are you using domains or just a single tenant with an IP address?

mcrane has an API for which he charges a monthly fee - probably overkill. You can look at the postgres database layout and figure it out, but that would probably take more time than to just enter them manually.

No need to worry about 373K anymore. Not surprisingly, they went out of business - couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.

I need a click to call app that works with Google Chrome. We need to have capabilities similar to Skype where a user can click on any phone number and have it dial. Has anyone had any luck with the stuff that's out there?
