    Questions regarding Kamailio/dSipRouter

Hi everyone, So I have been testing Fusion for about a year now and it has been rock solid. I am still learning it but overall it has been working just fine. Now I am thinking about scaling it out, getting a proper server (currently on a cheap vultr instance), etc. I am trying to understand...

    SMS

I am not using the api key under default settings. Just had a chance to check. Just webhook, secret key, and api url.

    SMS

They profile id is the api key I believe. The secret is the secret. It should go under the settings for the SMS. It should go wherever the webhook url is. Maybe apps sms. I'm not able to check right now. Look at a previous screenshot. It shows that information.

Make sure you use API version 1. I believe apiv2 is default

Access key is the api key and then their should be a secret key. Both In telnyx portal. You want to use the webhook for whichever vendor you are using so telnyx is what I used and what you should use if you're using telnyx for sms

    Ring Groups Dropping Outside Calls

Interesting. Thanks for that. Freepbx you can do that all day long so I'm glad you mentioned that about fusion. Actually sounds better than having 3 or more different ring groups nested.

One audio on dual stack 4G networks

When you removed ipv6, did you restart free switch? I enabled tls 5061 the other day and it wouldn't actually connect properly until I restarted free switch. Could be similar issue. If you are only allowing ipv4 on the server then the client should only be able to connect via ipv4.

Also a posted log from fs_cli could be helpful to see what's going on.

ATA cordless in ring group keeps ringing after answer

I'm not saying there won't be a delay but I dont recall one lasting 2 rings on a Cisco ATA and we use them a lot. Maybe I just never noticed?

ATA cordless in ring group keeps ringing after answer

Awesome. Hopefully it works out for you. The simple setup is easy enough to get connected but make sure to set the time zone and if it's a remote server, enable nat mapping and keep alive. I also like to disable most of the *xx features. A lot of users do *67 for example and it blocks the caller...

ATA cordless in ring group keeps ringing after answer

On a second note you could try a Cisco ATA. I've always used those over other brands and they work well for me. Just be sure to disable the router function of it comes with one (enabled by default).

ATA cordless in ring group keeps ringing after answer

If you do go the sip route I have used these and they worked well. Used them in a warehouse environment. That setup was freepbx but should work the same. https://www.yealink.com/product/voice-communication-w59r

How to enable TLS in Fusion PBX

Just fyi for anyone else... I had to restart Freeswitch as well to get it to fully listen. This is in the latest master branch (I believe): 4.5.32

    SIP App For Cell Phones?

I have another post maybe from last year or so if you search about SMS and telnyx as the provider. I got that part setup in fusion and simply enabled SMS in groundwire. Works great since it's been setup. Main thing is to make sure the SSL cert is current or it fails. Not running it in...

    SIP App For Cell Phones?

Groundwire works great for me. Also have sms integrated into it. I use it with Freepbx and Fusionpbx

    SOLVED Outbound call timer

Guess that wouldn't fit here since they wouldn't start a call at the exact time DHCP renewed...a sip trace could help others more experienced then me see what is happening when it is disconnected. Could also be a firewall closing the connection down?
