    Hello from Kansas

    @John There used to be a much more vibrant community on IRC. There were about 33 of us if I remember rightly with commit rights. Stable is where stable is and master we could do whatever we liked with and we did. People would be making commits, others would be checking and testing. One day we...

    Call Center Queue agent login

    Soory, you have provided nowhere near enough information for us to help, eben for example show us the setup you have for an agent.

    DNS failover primary/secondar

    I just do the health check on tcp port 5060 that way if freeswitch fails, it fails over.

    New Set-up Help

    Maybe it should be set to that, that is a ridiculously low timer though, I have never seen one so low, nor can I fathom any reason for needing it. I';d say leave it at 120 if it works. Do they have any similar documentation for how you should send outbound traffic. In particular, the format for...

    New Set-up Help

    Inbound doesn't need a gateway and no, that timer is way to low, push it up to 120 at least, currently that expire 25 is going to have your gateway reregistering about every 12-30 seconds.

    Session Border Controller Software

    I also would like to give a thumbs down to any of this SBC nonsense for NAT traversal. Freeswitch does an amazing job with NAT. Any problems are usually due to misconfiguration, the SBCs/other solutions just help scale.

    SOLVED fusionpbx.registrations table

    I have no idea what you have done but a default installation has NO tables related to registrations, none of the freeswitch running info is kept in postgres it is all kept in an sqlite database in a folder /var/lib/freeswitch/db.

    Yealink W80 and W90 multi-cell DECT

    There should be no reason why they will not work, autoprovisioning may not be ready yet.

    FusionPBX -> Asterisk routing

    I'm not familiar with how you are doing it. Because you are in the ACL it is treating you like a carrier ie looking for the number as a DID and then basiling when it doesn't find it.

    @gflow Without any logs you may as well be asking why your car didn't start this morning.

    Speed up CDR Statistics

    Sorry, no, I don't notice anything, in fact creating the index didn't take very much time. The DB used to be indexed back in the day but the indexes were then removed without explanation. If you have a support contract mcrane will put them back in for you :D I'd say just add them as they can be...

    Speed up CDR Statistics

    Add these three indexes: CREATE INDEX idx_direction ON v_xml_cdr (direction); CREATE INDEX idx_domain_uuid ON v_xml_cdr (domain_uuid); CREATE INDEX idx_star_epoch ON v_xml_cdr (start_epoch);

    Rebooting devices on a schedule, How?

    Just run the command directly in a cron job, it should work, something like: 0 3 * * * /usr/bin/fs_cli -x "luarun app.lua event_notify internal reboot 201@cxdomain.voip.com snom" >/dev/null 2>&1

    Reboot a phone from cli

    Thanks to @Adrian Fretwell You can reboot a single phone from the command line with something like: root@af-test3:~# fs_cli -x 'luarun app.lua event_notify internal reboot 201@testdomain.uk snom'

    change sip port 5060 to custom port, but no audio/video received at endpoint.

    ! I didn't see that about successful registrations, how is that even possible? Are you using a default debian install because that port should definitely be blocked?

    Yet Another Take On Call Recordings Storage: AWS S3

    I think others are using mod_http_cache. From what I read years ago, this should work quite well if handled correctly. Historically, if I remember rightly, the problem in the past with S3 was that we didn't store the recording path in the db. The way the CDR page 'found' the recording and...

    change sip port 5060 to custom port, but no audio/video received at endpoint.

    Changing sip ports is not the solution to protecting yourself from the bad boys, making more advanced use of fail2ban rules etc, that are already provided helps a lot. If you really must, then the reason nothing is probably working is that the default iptables is likely blocking the port you...

    Parallel ESL

    Look in: /usr/share/freeswitch/scripts/ha_monitor.lua We have used this for years. there is the freeswitch API thing that was used for many years.
