    You could try https://www.system-rescue.org/ or if you are running it on a VPS they usually have root password reset functionality.. Is this instance in production? Might just be easier to reinstall it? If you need further help DM me.

    Usually Zopier or Linpone works straight out of the box.. You could tweak the DTMF settings on the softphone? Mine is set to RFC-2833

    No... I would go onto: fs_cli in the CLI sophia global siptrace on & review the output on a test call...

    I do yeah... I made a test call before I replied and put the test line on hold for 13 seconds: hold_accum_ms 13488 Makes me wonder if you're using a soft phone that is not sending the signal in correctly? That is just a shot in the dark
